Our History...
The Orange Community Arts Council (OCAC) was incorporated January 17, 1968. In March of 1969, 800 community members attended the first Barefoot in the Parlor house tour and Garden Faire.
In 1980, OCAC established the Orange Art Center in 83-year-old residence nestled in the woods near the Orange Library. Capital campaigns over the years have more than doubled the size of the original building by enhancing the instructional spaces, expanding exhibit areas and building a state-of-the-art ceramics studio. With the continuing support of the OCAC, the Center has become one of the area's most prestigious community art centers.
