Your instructor, Dino Massaroni, is a charter member of the Ohio Plein Air Society (OPAS). OPAS is devoted to the encouragement and promotion of painting on location "en plein air" (in the open air). The class will be taught in the convenience and comfort of the studio until the weather permits you to work outdoors. This class is for beginners to advanced artists working in oil, acrylic, pastel or watercolor. Massaroni will demonstrate using pastel and oil. The unique class curriculum will give the student the opportunity to learn a number of simple and quick secrets for painting on location. This includes, tricks to setting up on location, selecting a winning nature subject, quickly achieving the effects of sunlight and atmosphere in nature, and how to finalize your painting with the suggestion of detail.
