Weekly projects challenge children’s creativity. Each child will work at his or her own level. Classes are process-oriented. Projects change from session to session. After school busing is available from Orange Schools.

PLEASE REMEMBER SIGN-UP DEADLINE IS ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS.



ORANGE ART CENTER SICK POLICY

If your child remains home from school due to illness we ask that you DO NOT drop your child off for class.

If the OAC staff indicates any type of illness, the parent will be called and asked to take their child home immediately.

NEW Class for Children Ages 3-4
Thursday Introduction to Pottery with Elizabeth Bartos
October 7-November 18

Children learn to create one of a kind ceramic creations. Students will use their imaginations to create hand built projects including pinch pots, coiling and slabs.

Tuesday Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media Introduction for ages 4-6 (K) with Christie Klubnik
October 5-November 16

Children will experiment with a variety of mediums in this introductory, experimental art class.
Tuesday Drawing and Painting for ages 6-11 with Christie Klubnik
October 5-November 16

Each of the seven sessions will introduce students to a different different artists of the art world. Based on the artist's style, students will then try their hand at creating an original work of art.
 
Tuesday Pottery for ages 4-6 (K) with Mark Yasenchack

Children will create hand-built clay projects by coiling, pinching and slab-building.
Tuesday Pottery for ages 6-11 with Mark Yasenchack

Children will hand-build clay projects by coiling, pinching and slab-building. Wheel Throwing is also part of this class.
